My V3 design proved to be mechanically rock solid, but it lacked internal cooling, especially since the cameras inside are running extremely hot. In order to help limiting the heat, and allowing faster cool-downs, I changed the design completely:

360 Rig V4

This makes it easier to manufacture,  easier to modify, and adds more room inside for additional components and ventilation.

The packaging was also updated, it now ships with lens caps and a pelican case:

360 Rig with remote, batteries and Pelican case

The case is large enough to have the charger within the case (not shown in this picture).

The price for the prototype 360 Rig is still $4500.

How cool! (it is really the case to say that)
Are batteries part of the rig or are they in the smaller white piece with the switch?!

The battery/power supply is completely separate. I use 11.1V LiPo packs and a 1.8m power cable, allowing you to use the battery as a counter weight on a pole, or put it where ever it is convenient.

Dos this work with streaming video?
