The Nodal Ninja Mini is the first pano head for smartphones. It is a miniature version of the highly successful Nodal Ninja 3 (NN3) Mk3. It is lightweight and compact. It uses the camera you have with you most of time, the smartphone. Just put your phone into the Phone Holder Pro and attach it to the upper rail. Aligning your smartphone camera is quick and easy.
The lower rotator uses “click” stops at intervals of 60°, 45°, 36° (corresponding to 6, 8 and 10-around). There are 2 additional stops, when using 2 detent plunger knobs in the corresponding holes, dividing that interval in half. For practical purposes, you can achieve 3, 4 and 5-around by advancing the rotator 2 clicks. Using the detent plunger knobs at 45°/2 and 45° results in 22.5° intervals and 36°/2 and 36° results in 18° intervals. The marker on the upper assembly points to 90° when in vertical position. The upper rotator uses positive lock stops every 7.5°. The upper and the lower rails come with rail stops to lock in the setup.
The Nodal Ninja Mini comes in a zippered hard-shell case with the Nodal Ninja Logo and carry strap. The case has room to add in the Phone Holder Pro.
